A team of 12 dedicated people is leaving in one week to serve in Malawi. Our container arrived a couple of days ago, and we aim to help organize the warehouse with the new items to ensure deliveries almost every day throughout the year. We will be delivering Buckets of Hope to the sick, the lonely, and those in serious need. In the buckets are maize, sugar, salt, soap for washing and laundry, Vaseline, tea, and other goodies. One amazing and thoughtful donor sent little sewing kits to be included. We will include costume jewelry, toothbrushes, and other small items collected. We want to thank you for your generosity. Our goal is to Glorify God, Serve Mankind, and Walk in Obedience.
We are exited and honored to serve in this way. We will conduct home visits and worship in the villages. We plan to share the “Zelda the Caterpillar” lesson, a whimsical story about a little unhappy caterpillar who learns that God has a special plan for her. This is always a favorite, and the kids are excited to get to hold Zelda. The story reminds us that everyone has a unique path and special gifts designed just for them.
Please keep our team in your prayers and ask God to prepare the roads before us. Thank you to all of you who helped make this possible. We have experienced exceptional generosity to be able to provide Bibles in their language, gifts for the teachers, and “mothers” at the Crisis Center. We will be assisting the Ministry of Hope with a medical day, during which an average of 700 people will be able to see a doctor and receive medicine. The trip is long, and getting to Malawi isn’t easy, but the reward is huge. Big thanks to those who are going with us, giving up their time, money, and comfort to serve others.
