An amazing team of 13 is being organized to support the work in Malawi. Our trip is scheduled for May, and we are really looking forward to it. We are excited to see how we can work alongside the ones already living and serving there. We plan to visit and work at the New Hope Private School, perhaps painting, and also organizing the warehouse. The 40ft container should be there by the time we arrive. We will be distributing thousands of little dresses for the girls and shorts for the boys, conducting home visits with Buckets of Hope. We plan to worship in the village. Please keep this team in your prayers as God prepares the way for us.
Another exciting happening is that this year, we will celebrate 20 years of Little Dresses for Africa. It’s hard to believe all that has happened since that day we sat in the red dirt of Malawi and decided we would return with little dresses to honor the little girls who work so hard. Doors have opened to us that we never dreamed were possible and lives have been changed. Stay tuned for more information about this year’s Big Dinner to celebrate 20 amazing years.
